A Guide to Making Fan Supplements

We love fan projects. You may know us for having a bunch ourselves. We want making supplements to be as easy as possible. We also live in a capitalist hellscape and would love for you to make some money off of your fan work, so you are free to sell your project(s) for monetary gain and set whatever price you want, provided you follow all of the below rules. We’d also love to see what you’ve done and help spread the hype, so be sure to shoot us a message or tag us in on Twitter.

1. Bottom-line upfront: Don’t use our intellectual property (IP) on anything that spreads hate or is grossly offensive.

2. You can use our IP in your game supplement creations, but not in stand-alone products. Unless it’s fanfiction or fan art. You can make all the credited fanfiction/art you want.  

3. Include “Unofficial” or “Fan” clearly in the title or subtitle, including in the product description and on the actual product’s cover.

4. Give credit and spread the love. Slap the following text in with your copyright text, using the same font size as the rest of your copyright:
